Unfortunately, my Jewish education has gaps and after a fair amount of study, am still really, really ignorant.
In other words, have failed to accurately articulate the differentiation between, Torah Observant Jewry, Modern Orthodox Jewry, Conservative Jewry, and Reform Jewry and have my own definitions of Hasidism, Chabad-sim, Haredi, etc. etc. etc.
In other words, every family that 'survived', in one way or another, carries along side them a set range of customs, inclinations, similarities, and differences.
Oh Vey!
Learning Yiddish? Is that even possible?
